SOCIAL SECURITY GENERAL SCHEME
Invalidity and old age pensions
The statutory and legal invalidity and old age pensions of the social security general scheme beginning before 1 January 2009 are adjusted by applying the increase values shown in the following table:
In the general scheme, the following minimum amounts are guaranteed, according to the pensioner’s insurance career:
SPECIAL SOCIAL SECURITY SCHEME FOR AGRICULTURAL ACTIVITIES (SSSSAA)
Amount: € 227,43
NON CONTRIBUTORY SCHEME and EQUIVALENT SCHEMES
Amount: € 189,52 (Social Pension)
SUPPLEMENTARY BENEFITS
Solidarity Extra Supplement (SES)
This supplement is granted in addition to the Invalidity and Old Age Social Pensions (non contributory scheme and equivalent schemes).
The Solidarity Extra Supplement is granted from the date when the respective pension is due.
If the supplement amount changes for age reasons, the new value is due from the month following the one on which the pensioner has completed 70 years of age.
Long Term Care Supplement
Dependant Spouse’s Supplement (General Scheme)
Amount: € 36,80
SURVIVOR’S PENSIONS
Survivor’s pension amounts under all the schemes are adjusted according to the invalidity and old age pensions increase of the respective schemes.
OCCUPATIONAL DISEASES PENSIONS
Permanent incapacity for work pensions, in case of death and and occupational diseases pensions granted before 1 January 2009 are adjusted by applying the increase values shown in the following table:
